Oregon - part 2

Chris and I got an early start today, so we don't eat dinner at 9 pm again tonight.

Lucky for us the drive was a bit shorter today and there weren't quite as many spots to stop.  But we did get to see more rock formations

The rock below was one Chris searched out from the Road Trip site - it is called face rock since it resembles a face coming out of the water facing the sky
We crossed a bunch of fun bridges

We even crossed the tallest bridge in Oregon.  It is 345 feet tall.  Now I wasn't worried crossing any bridges except this one, just because they told me how far I would fall!

We stopped to see Devil's Churn, it was beautiful, but would have been more impressive at high tide

And adding to our slight disappointment when we stopped to view a lighthouse we found it was closed

But the scenery was still incredibly beautiful

We stopped to look at the Oregon Dunes, but didn't venture too far since it is nesting season and we had Haru

A little further down the road
We crossed into California
Our main reason for coming to Crescent City was the Redwoods, which we are visiting tomorrow on our way to Winnemucca NV.  But since we had a little extra time tonight we went out to find the Giant Scissors from RoadTrip America.  The were big, but not impressive

We also stopped at Ocean World for a couple photo ops before stopping for dinner

See you all tomorrow.
