This is what I woke up to on Saturday morning at 5:30 am. It immediately brought to mind the Big One on Guam, and I jumped out of bed to get the kids. Lyle stayed in bed :) Fortunately there was no damage in our house, but we did have a bit UNDER our house:
The guy from housing said we had about 60,000 gallons of water under the building. They turned off the water, pumped the crawlspace and repaired the broken pipes. The broken pipe gave us some fun. Check out how much pressure the water under the house was putting on the manhole covers:
